My imagination but it seems as though I can stack chaos storm through arcane echo. Is it true or is it my imagination?

My next question is, is if it is true could two mesmerize to the same thing at the same time. If so then I think the possibilities for a new type of mesmer farming team could be possible. Your experience would be helpful.

Yes, Chaos storm is not applied to the foe, it's applied to the place where the foe stands (when finished casting). So you can cast multiple Chaos Storms at the same location. However, it causes scatter. So unless you have something to keep them in place for an extended period of time (psychic instability says hi), you probably won't get much use out of it.

Like Scott said, it is a great spell as you can stack it over and over as many times as you want.

Downside, it does cause scatter. I mean, the instant you cast it, if they aren't doing something important, they scatter. You need a snare of some sort to keep them in it, otherwise it isn't worth bringing along.

Usually I'll have a Water Hero or Gwen as Illusion if I do use it. Knockdown helps as well or even Crippling.

It's already implemented but with Assassin primary and it's used to speed clear Rragar's Menagerie. It's pretty fun.

the reason i had question on this post , was i was in "ooze pit" (possible the hardest cave) and it had amazing results in killing the little buggers.

using spirits as blockers and casting chaos storm on that location brought up multiple kills all at the same time.

there aggression is there downfall. yes they scatter bus multiple chaos storms is in multiple locations. if 2 mesmers can arcane echo for 4 chaos storms , i wonder is the cave will become easy per-say

( a tin man moment brought on by coffee ) I’m going to try to add up the perfect game with a with two mesmer. But first I have to note that I have found that bringing mesmer hero with arcane echo seems to be useless.
For some reason they do not like casting chaos storm even if you just use nothing but the elite echo and chaos storm.
(Just a note to be added on I have found that a lot of builds that I’ve seen for heroes don’t seem to work because they only cast what they want to cast when they want a cast it.)

I will not take credit for a lot of these builds although I will say that a lot of builds I have created or modified from other builds. So please give me a break if you happen to see a build that you vote was yours.

I have not added in the type of healing monk that you need because there’s a little bit of a choice factor here. Ritualistic monks have a tendency to do just as good as any ordinary monk. But there is a little bit of a difference here from ordinary a monk that has to be noted. Ritualistic monks have a tendency to stop and throw up a spirit. Not good in my opinion. It can also be noted that you can use a necro monk that gets all its energy from Soul reaping. So add away

Now that this is all been written what I have to do is go test my own build with another person. I’m usually pretty close when I design teams. This is why I do not use pug groups a lot of times, they don’t think about the it in area there a pig ends and they just go with what they wanna go with. I’m sure a lot of you can sympathize. I will let you know how it goes.

Please tweak in any attributes or anything that you see that I’ve got designed wrong I’m always open to suggestions I do not see myself as perfect in any sort away. And I think that when it comes down to areas such as monking I can always use advice

Resurrect is a poor res skill and Rebirth disables skills along with emptying energy.

Take out Empathy, Pain Inverter, Crippling Daggers, and Shadow Sanctuary. Add energy management, Finish Him, and YMLaD.

Don't use monks as heroes. They are worthless.

My trip to the oose pit went well. I made a mistake thinking that the oose's would turn into flesh. They don't.

The minion Master was useless the first time around.

The second time in went a lot better.

We found that the Mesmer build that I had described at the very top worked fantastically well. Casting two assassins, while following up with the chaos storm, brought the little SOB’s down by about 50%.
As they came into the spirits after killing the assassins, we were able to follow up on them again because of the assassins promise, it had allowed us to reload the skill bar. Total amount of assassins 8 total amount of chaos storms 4.

The lesson I learned here was that chaos storm cannot be the lead attack. It is a fantastic damage while assisting the assassins.

If I was to go in again I replace the necromancer with a ranger trapper to trap next to the spirits. Or another Mesmer that has massive A0E (area of affect)
